Look into the sun: A great sanitora

First spied at the Short ride height, Drag, Rim deep meet; this sunny truck has become my favourite surpassed only by the IRS light blue truck in previous JMW posts. Man it’s so good. Upon falling for its sexy good looks, e-net trolling was on the cards for more pictures. I managed to track down the dudes Minkara profile and profited to the highest extent.
Usually not a huge fan of soft top tray covers, however this one looks surprisingly good. Not so much when its filled with water however.
I guess you could call it a “GX-5″ ute, rocking the GX-5 black and red stripe and GX bullet fender mirrors it looks the part. Other small features you might notice are the shaven rear bumperettes, monsoon visors and a coupe badge to suit. Thankfully it retains the A series, sucking through a pack of MSR bike carbs, oh the glory of it all.
No doubt the absolute best feature of this car is the ride height and wheel fitment. 13×8.5 Hayashi streets and 13×8 Focus Racing wheels. According to the Minkara, he’s running 155/60/13′s on his streets, what a legend.
Making that ride height possible is a pair of reset leafs and a 15mm block. If its still got a positive curve it in, you’re not low enough.
Its all about the driving experience, driving to the car meet that is.
