NICK’S NA6 – Meremere December 2011
December 30, 2011

More photos of Nick from this December. More here and here
It can be a total ass to try keep photos looking consistent when you shoot over a whole day. Even more so when heavy rain turns into blaring sunshine. I tried but sometimes there are photos you have to put in a set regardless of it not fitting in at all. I’ve converted a bunch of video to begin the painful journey of making a video on this sack of crap laptop. It won’t be up for a while yet as I’m going away however.

Two more photos of Kris from the last Meremere cone day. This is fast becoming one of my favourite AEs in New Zealand; it helps that it’s a notch tureno and it sounds like it does. Keep ruining the show Kris
NICK S – Meremere September 2011
September 25, 2011

We went to a quiet and sunny cone day at Meremere yesterday and as always, it ruled. I must say for the most part it was dominated by AE86s and NA6s but that’s cool. I didn’t shoot much, instead choosing to hang out in the sun with mates and drive Nicks (above) car a bit. No one stacked their car or took their head off in the wire fence, or even killed any drive train. Impressed.
Nick S – 86 Day
August 16, 2011

Three entry photos of Nick S. The flimsy convertible got a weld in cage a few weeks ago, unsurprisingly it stiffened up the car hugely.

Note: factory 1600 with is pretty painful on a dry track unless it’s second gear stuff, can’t wait to nab a drive of this thing with a bit more power

Forgotten lightning photo

Nigel’s post about the history of his 180SX prompted me to have a look back on the history of my own car. Whilst the past of this little Datsun is no where near as cool or eventful there are some highlights in there. This image in particular makes me laugh at my own idiocy. Parked up on the boat ramp in the middle of a rain and thunder storm taking photos with an umbrella over my head isn’t usually the best idea. Thankfully I got lucky with a handful of strikes right overhead, this was the best. The black centers on the MKIIs really gets to me now, I don’t know how I left it like that for so long! Here’s to fun daily drivers and innocent idiocy. P.S: this is not shopped, you cannot see the pixels.

What would beeoneoneoh be without a b? I’ve been starring at this photo for quite some time now, you can imagine why.
I’m not going to try and make excuses as to why this hasn’t been my priority for a long time now… but it hasn’t. I have been doing bits and pieces and not posting about it but I’ll do an update at some point. Not a lot of large things to do still, I’m just plugging away at lots of little ones; you know how it is. I thought you’d enjoy the photo, I do, and in due time this car will be better than that^
